Luane Dy and Carlo Gonzalez's son Christiano turns one year old
Unang Hirit host Luane Dy and Kapuso actor Carlo Gonzalez firstborn son Christiano Gonzalez turned one year old on Friday, April 30.
To make the child's day even more special, Luane penned a lengthy message for Christiano on social media, along with a photo of the latter in front of his birthday cake.

The letter describes Luane's journey to motherhood.
“My dearest Christiano,
“I found out I was having you when two red lines popped out of a pharmacy bought pregnancy testing kit. I had no idea what to feel, I didn't know if I was ready. I'm sure you could tell mommy was scared. After all, you could hear my heartbeat from where you were,” she wrote.
The celebrity mom also shared that her pregnancy was tough, noting that she experienced hemorrhages and other complications while conceiving.
“We didn't have the smoothest of journeys in the beginning. From spotting to hemorrhages, early contractions and all the other complications along the way.
“Especially, the emergency C-section that caught me off guard because we had to get you out right away. Not to mention this whole pandemic drama that made everything twice if not thrice as hard. Which is; also, the reason why we had to postpone all the firsts we could've had.
“Despite all that, no words can encapsulate how I felt the very first time they placed you in my arms. When you first curdled into me like I was the safest place you can be in,” she continued.
“The past 365 days with you has been the happiest I've been and to be called your Mom is, and will always be the greatest gratification this life has bestowed upon me.”
After eight years of being together, Luane and Carlo got engaged in April 2019 in Disneyland theme park in Los Angeles, California.
In November of the same year, the two held a private civil wedding in Quezon City.
Then, just weeks after announcing that they already got married, the couple gladly shared with the public that they were expecting a child.
